Where does the GOP pledge their allegiance? Is it to Grover Norquist or, to the United States of America. I know we have a representative democracy, which means our elected officials work for us. But for some reason I think they are working for Grover Norquist.
It is funny when they go out of their way to call the president of the United States foreign and un-American, because they disagree with him. What is more un-American than beholding a pledge to one man (Grover Norquist) over a nation, the United States?
The GOP has a thing that they do, which is tell the American people what they want to do and then does something else once they are elected. Either they believed that the voters are stupid or we are stupid for voting them. If you think about it, the deficit is always a doomsday scenario when the democrats are in power. Ask yourself this question, if the GOP is so concern about the national debt, why are we having a $16th trillion dollar? Don’t tell me the democrats have been running the country since the days of Rosevelt.
What I can tell you is that we can pay our debt in 25 years and yes we can do that by reforming all our entitlement programs, defence, and generating revenue. If you take any one of these steps out of the equation, you are doing us no good. It is like running out of gas or taking out the engine in your car and still expecting the car to drive you to work.
Yes the democrats have said they can compromise to allow cut if they GOP allow some revenue to be generated. But how can the GOP help the United States if the pledge themselves to one man, Grover Norquist over the nation. So please someone tell me how this makes sense and how one man and the 1% are representation trumps a nation. So where does the GOP allegiance lie? Grover Norquist or the United States Of America?
